The YPO Southern Sands Integrated Chapter unites nearly 110 dynamic leaders from the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Caribbean Islands, all bound by a shared commitment to learning, camaraderie, and both personal and professional growth. We host two marquee events each year, each spanning three nights and three days. Members are required to attend at least one of these signature gatherings. In addition, we organize engagement dinners throughout the fiscal year—ranging from virtual to hybrid to in-person experiences—often held in cities and regions where our members live.

We live by a simple motto: work hard, play hard. Our members’ laid-back, adventurous nature and eagerness to travel to connect have helped make us one of the fastest-growing chapters in the world.

At our core, we place tremendous value on forum participation, recognizing it as the foundation of the YPO experience. As an integrated chapter, YPO and YPO Gold members come together as one community, ensuring the continued exchange of wisdom and experience as members evolve through every stage of their journey.

YPO Membership

What is YPO, Young Presidents Organization

YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) connects successful young chief executives in a global network of peers unlike any other. The organization unites approximately 29,000 business leaders in more than 142 countries around a shared mission: Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange.

YPO Membership Qualifications

Age: Must be under the age of 45
Title: Must hold the top position of a qualifying company or division; President, Chair of the Board, CEO, Managing Director, or Managing Partner. Must be directly responsible for all operations of a company that fulfills minimum size and complexity criteria.
Employee Count: Either 50 employeesOR 15 employees AND a payroll over $2.5 million.
The candidate must meet either requirement A or B.
Requirement A:The corporation must meet dollar volume requirements based on the type of corporation they run, as follows: Sales/Service/Manufacturing corporations must have at least USD15,000,000 in gross annual sales or turnovers. Financial institutions must have average annual assets of at least USD300,000,000. Agency-type businesses must have annual fees or commissions billed of at least USD12,000,000.
Requirement B:The corporation must have an enterprise value of USD25,000,000. Enterprise value of $25,000,000+ USD.

YPO Southern Sands only accepts prospective members who meet YPO requirements and do not require a waiver.

YPO welcomes members and their spouses/significant others to connect with peers in a structured, supportive and confidential environment. Candor and trust permeate every interaction, since members are prohibited from soliciting other members or spouses/significant others.

Engagement Dinner
Engagement Dinners give members the chance to open their homes or favorite city spots for an intimate evening of connection. Hosted at a member’s discretion, these dinners create space for authentic conversations and stronger chapter bonds.

Forum
Forum is a confidential, small group of members who meet on a regular basis to share unbiased, insightful knowledge and experiences on issues that matter most. YPO forum provides members with a unique safe haven for discussing challenges and opportunities in an atmosphere of safety, respect and trust. As the originator of forum, YPO now offers more than 4,000 forums worldwide.
